In Paris, under the arcades of the Chaillot Palace, the Mexican National Union of Workers in Education has officially presented an educational support guide for indigenous education professionals to assist them with imparting knowledge in a pluricultural environment.

The guide, ‘Teaching Strategies’ (Estrategias didácticas) presents several very practical methods for teachers facing a wide variety of native languages with an educational and anthropological approach based on research and observation work carried out in nineteen indigenous teaching schools from three Mexican states (Baja California, Chiapas and San Luis Potosí) in which there are no fewer than 11 indigenous languages. The guide covers several topics such as personal identity, community identity, land recognition and ecosystems. The guide is available here (ESP).
