The general assemblies of the MGEN group were held on 10 and 11 July 2017 in Montpellier. Some 500 delegates present elected Roland Berthilier as the new president to head MGEN. Matthias Savignac, President of the Education and Solidarity Network was re‑elected as a member of the National Bureau.
President Berthilier agreed with the new CEO Isabelle Hebert to work for ‘A MGEN that is engaged, efficient and innovative. A MGEN which brings together. A MGEN, solid and in solidarity.’
The General Assembly also renewed its confidence in the project to create a mutualist group bringing together several mutual benefits societies, including MGEN and Harmonie. Thierry Beaudet, the outgoing president of MGEN will be seeking to be president of that group. More information here.
