2017 will see two important French healthcare mutuals come together: MGEN and its historic rival, Harmonie. Together, they will become the first French social protection group with over 11 million insured people, 24,000 employees, 9 billion of equity, and 700 healthcare and social centres.
The mutual movement in France is getting stronger and intends to make its voice heard on issues such as access to healthcare and health democracy, a few months before the French presidential and legislation elections in May and June 2017.
