We are pleased to invite you to participate in the webinar of exchange of experiences of the Education and Solidarity Network (ESN), on the occasion of the General Assembly of the Network, on Tuesday 13 July 2021 at 3pm (UTC+2), on Zoom.
Present on the five continents, the Education and Solidarity Network (ESN) brings together education, health and social protection players throughout the world. ESN members, health mutual benefit societies, associations, education unions and other civil society organisations, work together to promote the well-being of educational communities, to defend access to health and to extend solidarity-based social protection for all.
How have the organisations accompanied and looked after their activists, patients and communities facing the pandemic? How, in the current ecological and social context, can the values of solidarity be kept alive and defended?
Supporting health education and awareness-raising, defending workers’ rights during the pandemic, supporting mental health, educating people about social protection, promoting gender equality: discover during the webinar several actions carried out by ESN members around the globe. A world tour of activist and citizen initiatives, led by education and health organisations, all sharing a common advocacy for solidarity.
