Last month, the OECD published its PISA 2015 Results in Focus (programme for international student assessment) which has for the first time shown an interest in student wellbeing. School is thus no longer considered as merely a learning environment but as an actual rich and complex living place, where numerous factors influence the wellbeing of youth.

The analysis of these results sheds new light on, among other things, student motivation to work well, peer and teacher relationships, family life as well as time spent away from school. The survey also highlighted the instrumental role of teachers and parents in creating good conditions, whether at the physical, psychological or relationship level but also in supporting acquiring the essential skills to succeed in life. For more details, the survey report is available at online.
